The Marketing Associate is primarily responsible for managing the flow and execution of all marketing campaigns for the Bank, delivering on campaigns that produce high impact for our business partner’s goals, and helping improve our customers’ financial wellbeing.  Closely collaborate with the Marketing Managers and the Creative Director in order to ensure that the team is executing on marketing initiatives in a way that is efficient, effective, and timely.

Consistently align work to CSB’s values and develop a solution-focused mindset, while building emotional connections by using the tools of listening, compassion and understanding.

 Key Result Areas:  

§  Campaign management, including the support of social media coordination, collateral development and deployment through all available channels (in-branch, digital, website, transit, print, etc.) and other marketing initiatives.

§  Support social media activities, including content development and posting.

§  Assist with event planning and management as it supports the business line or certain enterprise level needs.

§  Understand banking advertising compliance requirements and provide for integration into all appropriate marketing efforts.

§  Facilitate all necessary coordination with internal partners for review and approval of campaign materials.

§  Act as a liaison with legal and compliance partners and maintains internal controls and sign-offs for monitoring and/or audits.

§  Manage the Bank’s monthly media schedule and asset releases. 

§  Coordinates and supports Marketing Managers with the scheduling and planning of monthly governance meetings with internal business partners.

§  Partner with Marketing Managers to establish and monitor KPIs for each campaign and initiative, creating data driven reports that help give insights into campaign optimizations.

§  Support Creative Director as needed with edits to campaign collateral as required by the business line or Legal/Compliance.

§  Perform additional duties as required.


§  Minimum of 1-3 years relevant experience.

§  Experience with financial services or other regulated industries a plus.

§  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

§  Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept directions on given assignments.

§  Able to work collaboratively with other staff and exhibit strong teamwork.

§  Experience with traditional and online marketing including video and print production, advertising, direct mail programs, email marketing platforms (Constant Contact), social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and websites (CMS systems).

§  Understanding of campaign management/planning and creative development process for both traditional and online.

§  Experience designing, coordinating, and managing events.

§  Excellent project management skills – must be extremely well organized with attention to detail, follow-up and follow-through.

§  Self-motivated, takes initiative and is comfortable working on multiple projects at a time with the ability to prioritize, as needed.

§  Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

§  Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator helpful.
