The Treasury Operations Manager plays a key role in maintaining high performance standards and development of the Treasury Operations team. Oversees daily treasury operations activities of the team including workflow management, training, maintaining accurate procedures, developing, and maintaining sound operational controls all in support of providing new clients a seamless onboarding experience. Participates in key PMO and non-PMO initiatives impacting Treasury clients as well as bank-wide initiatives. Supports senior management by executing key departmental objectives that align with the strategic direction of the department and Bank.    

The Treasury Operations Manager will utilize product knowledge and industry information to support Treasury Client Services, Treasury Sales & Implementation and Commercial Relationship Managers to resolve complex product and service issues affecting clients. Collaborates with key partners like Treasury Client Services, Treasury Sales, Digital Banking to maintain a high standard of communication between teams and implement operational efficiencies and assist in the testing & implementation of new products & services. 

Key Result Areas:  

  • Ensure Treasury Operations Team meets established SLAs for the set up and maintenance of services including but not limited to online banking, bill pay, ACH, Wire, RDC, Sweeps, ZBA and Positive Pay as well as monthly Account Analysis processing

  • Partner with inter-department teams to continuously improve workflow processes.  Maximize use of CRM and Core functionality that results in improved customer experience and operational efficiency

  • Maintain high level of responsiveness to escalated troubleshooting requests from Treasury Client Services and Business lines

  • Monitor various reporting from key platforms including but not limited to CRM, ACH, and Core to measure team performance, volumes and detect trends impacting resource capacity, client experience and risk profiles of treasury management clients

  • Oversee and maintain operational procedures to ensure accuracy and relevance. Ensures team members receive regular refresh training for job functions, product training and compliance (BSA, fraud etc.)

  • Participate in key PMO projects, non-PMO initiatives including vendor user groups

  • Continuously reevaluate and stay abreast of market trends regarding Treasury Management products/services, and internal operational platforms including Core, Account Analysis, CRM and Document Management system enhancements

  • Perform additional duties as required


  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5+ years banking or financial services industry experience in commercial banking or commercial lending

  • 3+ years related experience with treasury management including but not limited to: lock box, zero balance accounts, sweep accounts, ACH origination, RDC, account reconcilement, account analysis, asset-based lending products

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as strong customer service skills and the ability to collaboratively work with all levels of management and business clients

  • Strong analytical skills, along with technical and operational banking knowledge

  • Ability to work effectively with customers, both internal and external, work independently as well as multi-task

  • Proven leadership skills

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of commercial business marketplace

  •  Contribute to the effective team management of all bank issues and opportunities
