Responsible for leading the development and implementation of an integrated, multi-channel marketing plan for one or more business lines that help drive the success of the assigned business line (s) and the overall brand of the Bank.  In this role, she/he is responsible for engaging with business line leadership and their teams to ensure a deep understanding of and alignment with their strategies, goals, and initiatives.  She/he will maintain a high level of collaboration with internal and external partners in order to develop and deliver their plans.  The role is also responsible for ensuring market research and data analytics are included in the development of business strategy, marketing strategy, and marketing analysis.  This is a senior position in the marketing organization and responsibilities will flex in response to business needs and will strive to positively impact our customer’s financial wellbeing, whilst exhibiting our core values.

 Key Result Areas:  

  • Developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for the assigned business line(s) in order to attract new customers, broader the wallet of and retain existing customers

  • Participation as an extended member of the business line(s) and working teams, and developing deep line of business knowledge

  • Managing and professional growth of junior marketing staff

  • Managing of other cross-organizational team members, indirectly, in order to execute marketing plans and strategic initiatives

  • Maintaining a strong digital presence through online advertising, search engine optimization, social media, and other relevant channels in order to drive incremental traffic to and business through the website.

  • Leading market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing products/services and a deeper understanding of customer expectations

  • Managing and liaising with media partners and advertising agencies, identifying higher impact strategies

  • Engaging with CSB senior management to share results of marketing plans and strategic initiatives

  • Determining line of business budget targets

  • Perform additional duties as required.


  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred

  • 10+ years of marketing, customer behavioral experience 

  • Strong knowledge of all traditional and emerging marketing channels, including advertising, direct mail, email, sales materials, TV/OTT, digital, events, social, and experiential.

  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.

  • Ability to consistently prioritize workflow based on business impact

  • Ability to influence senior leaders through demonstration of critical thinking skills and delivering logical and fact-based positions

  • Ability to maintain energy, focus and persistence despite challenges, disruptions and redirections

  • Ability to lead and work on multiple projects, meet deadlines and work well under pressure

  • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges

  • Professional judgement and discretion from years of experience

  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with strengths in PPT
