POSITION: QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER
Manages the Quality Control Program for Residential & Commercial Servicing and Business Client Services for new loans, deposit accounts and cash management services. The right candidate will ensure that the accounts are booked properly and in compliance with Federal & State regulations and investor guidelines and stay up to date with the applicable regulatory changes. Additionally, the Manager will be responsible for managing the Post Closing review of commercial, residential and home equity loans and provide management with insights into exceptions identified, trends and recommendations for improvement.
Key Result Areas:
Lead the quality control team responsible for evaluating accuracy and providing information about the Core system data for the set-up of new/modified residential, consumer & commercial loans as well as Cash Management deposit accounts/features.
Manage the team to perform Post-Closing document review and tracking of all new/modified residential, consumer & commercial loans.
Monitor daily maintenance and identify data exceptions/anomalies in the Core systems affecting Commercial Lending, Residential Lending, Consumer Lending, Commercial Deposits and Cash Management services as part of data governance program.
Manage the timely and accurate review of the HMDA LAR and CRA Small Business LAR data to ensure accuracy and compliance with Reg C.
Provide Servicing and Client Service management with monthly quality data metrics, identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
Manage the timely and accurate review of the HMDA LAR data and ensure timely reporting to Federal Reserve.
Perform additional duties as required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Information Technology preferred or 3 years’ experience in commercial lending or bank operations experience.
Minimum 2 years' experience in managing a staff.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial lending institution.
Residential and Commercial lending or bank operations experience is preferred.
Strong understanding of the residential and commercial lending life-cycles, familiarity with products, and residential and commercial loan documentation.
Thorough understanding of federal and local regulations and laws pertaining to lending.
Strong computer/technical literacy skills, including using Core banking and CRM platforms.
Strong understanding of process controls and operational risk.
Work experience in managing projects and effectively train individuals or small groups.
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; organizational skills.
Proficient computer skills including the ability to assimilate new software applications.
