POSITION:  COMMUNITY RELATIONS COORDINATOR

 

Summary:

The Community Relations Coordinator will be responsible for coordination of activities related to corporate giving and other tasks related to the Cambridge Savings Charitable Foundation (CSCF). Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends for Bank, Foundation, and other community events.

 

Key Result Areas:  

 

  • Collect background information on incoming sponsorship and grant requests. Coordinate with Marketing on materials necessary to support sponsorship requests, to include ads, in-branch displays, etc. Coordinate with Facilities on the delivery and pick-up of items for our nonprofit partners. Send calendar invitations to employees and guests for Community sponsored events, register attendees, and update the entries on the Intranet Events Calendar. Process and track accurate payments for approved sponsorships, grants, and scholarship awards and create cover letters for check payments.

  • Track CRA qualified activities and ensure we receive proper low to moderate income (LMI) documentation for examiners.

  • Coordinate onsite and offsite volunteer events, Lunch and Learn sessions, to include setting up WebEx meetings, promoting volunteer activities via intranet postings, Community Relations intranet pages, Daily-ish emails, etc. Track volunteer hours and report volunteer activity to the Head of Community Relations. Coordinate Bank-wide collections, in-kind donations, employee holiday donations, etc.

  • Coordinate nonprofit organization (NPO) and CSB Home Achieve conference calls to include scheduling with NPOs and CSB employees, setting up WebEx meeting, and pre and post meeting communications. Track NPO and CSB Home Achieve calls and gather information about the CSB participants’ follow-up efforts and any related business development.

  • Order poster checks from the Print Center, schedule poster checks photo sessions, and work with nonprofits on their social media Thank You posts. Track Community social media posts.

  • Function as a CSB representative with nonprofits and attend community and volunteer events as the job requires.

  • Perform administrative duties such as: generating donation correspondence, filing, ordering, and maintaining adequate supply levels, in-person meeting set-up/breakdown, ordering meals and refreshments, and providing audio-visual meeting support.

  • Perform additional duties as needed.

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • 1 to 2 years of working in related area or community service capacity preferred.
  • Technically proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and Power Point) and other video-based applications. Familiarity with workflow automation software a plus.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, verbal, and written communication, as well as the ability to successfully interact with all levels of staff, management, and members of community organizations.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail required.
