POSITION: COMMERCIAL LENDING EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

 

Summary:

We are committed to exceeding expectations and having a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion.  The Commercial Lending Executive Assistant is responsible for supporting the Heads of Commercial Lending Division (SVP Head of Corporate Banking, SVP Head of Commercial Real Estate, SVP Chief Credit Officer, and EVP Chief Lending Officer) as it relates to project and initiative management and business line coordination and communication.

 

Key Result Areas:  

 

  • Manage the Heads of Commercial Lending’s schedules and workloads; adequately prepare them for their meetings. Receive and follow up on confidential information.
  • Serve as point of contact for all departments of the bank regarding questions, scheduling and projects for the Commercial Lending department, keeping communication between all parties’ fluid and collaborative.
  • In collaboration with the SVPs Heads of Commercial Lending, assist in the project management process related to bank-wide projects that impact Commercial Lending; directly manage key Commercial projects as assigned by the SVPs and pull in key partners to bring projects to resolution.
  • Complete projects and special assignments as needed by establishing objectives, determining priorities, managing time, gaining cooperation of others, monitoring progress, problem-solving, and adjusting plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with Customer Data Team to ensure data integrity on all commercial lending reports.
  • Train, troubleshoot, coordinate, orchestrate upgrades, monitor reporting, and facilitate feedback with the Enterprise CRM Administrator
  • Lead the event planning and execution process for all Commercial Lending events by determining objective of event, agenda, participants, and location.  Additionally, support the event planning and execution process for most bank-wide and executive sponsored events.

    • Assist with Presidential Golf Tournament
    • Employee Appreciation Events
    • Holiday Party for Commercial
  • Assist SVPs in the creation, production, and updating of Strategic Planning supporting materials; track progress of Strategic Plan goals and objectives as required.
  • Manage and lead the new hire on-boarding program for Commercial Lending.  Work collaboratively with Learning and Development, Commercial Loan Operations and Lending Managers to ensure that new hires experience key onboarding activities and complete key in-field learning activities as appropriate.
  • Facilitate meetings and take minutes for specific meetings determined by SVP’s.
  • Process expense reports for the SVPs of Commercial Lending monthly.
  • Coordinate the Yearly Budget process with Accounting and Management for Departments.
  • Perform additional duties as required

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • High school education, plus post-secondary education, or 3-5 years’ banking experience.

  • Proven administration skills.

  • Strong technical skills to include high level of proficiency with Microsoft Outlook & Excel.

  • Effective project management skills.

  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments.
